National Scale Service was founded in 1989 by Bryan Phipps, an experienced NCI / Weigh-Tronix factory trained technician. He recognized that scale dealers were not getting the quality service and repairs that they deserved. What they wanted was reliable repairs, low flat rates and fast turnaround. That’s what he offered them and it became the foundation for the excellent service we still provide today.

Repaired right the first time … it’s what matters the most. Our well trained technicians are experienced at component-level troubleshooting and uniquely trained in the repair of scales, indicators, lab balances, printers and remote displays. We thoroughly test every function after the repair and allow for a “burn-in” period if necessary. Reliable repairs are our top priority and we don’t take shortcuts.
We operate out of a commercial building with a state-of-the-art repair lab. We’re located in Santa Rosa, California, which is 50 miles north of San Francisco and the largest city in Sonoma County. Santa Rosa is the previous home to several prominent scale manufacturers: NCI, Weigh-Tronix, Flex-Weigh and Electroscale.
